Croatia's most storied sailing region, where medieval walled cities, remote islands and the clearest waters in the Adriatic come together
Dubrovnik
⚓ Charter base: ACI Marina Dubrovnik / Gruž Harbour
The natural southern endpoint for most South Dalmatia itineraries and one of the most dramatic harbour approaches in the Mediterranean. The city walls rise directly from the sea and the old town is genuinely extraordinary, though it gets extremely crowded in July and August. Most experienced sailors spend one night, explore the walls in the early morning before the cruise ships arrive and move on. The marina at Gruž is practical but not scenic, the city itself is the reason to be here.
